This weekend is a rare triple header wedding weekend for us, and to say I’ve been excited about Amber + Ali’s wedding for months now would be a huge understatement! EEEK!! A few weeks ago we explored the Crescent Hill Reservoir and all of it’s historic charm, and on Saturday we get to take over the Rathskeller Room at the Seelbach Hilton in Downtown Louisville.
More than anything I can’t wait to meet their friends! That may seem like an odd thing to be excited about, but to understand I have to take you back to their first date. Like so many couples, Amber and Ali met online! They initially hit if off well, but it’s always wise to be extra cautious when you meet someone in person for the first time. Enter Amber’s friends; I hear they are the real MVPs of the first date. Not only did they go with Amber and “hid” in another booth, but they stayed the entire time to make sure she was good. After the first date, Ali and Amber both discovered with were huge Louisville city soccer fans. Their second date was to a game together and the rest is history!
You can tell from the moment you’re with them, that they are so genuine, sincere and have great taste! (Just check our their ceremony location: here) I knew their engagement session location needed the perfect mix of architecture, fun and romantic flare. The Crescent Hill Reservoir was perfect for the job! We explored the grounds, along with about 20 prom couples, and ended the evening strolling in the Highlands. I think the blooming trees there may be my favorite part of the day! Amber and Ali, we are SO excited to celebrate with you all on Saturday! It’s going to be a gorgeous day!!
