Have you ever taken a college class and thought it was just another elective to get you that much closer to graduation? Well, we can all thank volleyball for this gorgeous day we got to have at the Garden at Ray Edens! Sarah and Ryan met during this class and it was the sweetest story to hear every toast mention their first encounters. Apparently Ryan was very persistent to Sarah’s “nos” and after getting encouragement from her friends, she decided to just try out a first date.
The rest brought us to this stunning day! The Garden at Ray Edens is a quaint little hidden gem in Louisville Kentucky. I have to say that Garden weddings, when the weather is gorgeous, is one of my absolute favorite types of celebrations! The flowers were beautiful, the grounds immaculate but most importantly Ryan and Sarah were nothing short of special. From her stunning custom veil made from her grandmother’s wedding dress, to the vintage getaway car, this day was full of amazing details.
To the newly weds, thank you for letting us celebrate with you! Your friends and family made us feel so welcome and we didn’t want the part to end! Praying your first couple weeks of marriage have been incredible!
Sarah’s dad handmade this alter bench seat for them, which was such a stunning focal piece. They plan to use it in their backyard and I love that it will always be a special piece to remember this day!
Sarah’s veil was a custom made piece from the lace of Sarah’s grandmother’s dress! Isn’t is amazing?!
The last surprise of the day was this vintage car that Sarah’s dad had for their getaway! Isn’t this the best ending to such an incredible day?
Thank you to the amazing vendor team that made this gorgeous day possible!
