Our Spring wedding season has officially kicked off, and hitting the road running in Bardstown Kentucky last weekend was the perfect start!

How many of you knew when you met your current spouse that they were the one? Did any of you happen to meet online? Paul and I met before the days of Instagram and Pinterest and to really date us, Facebook was a *brand new* thing our junior year of college. (Now if you want to know how to make a rockin’ myspace profile, I’m your girl! haha!) So, when I hear tales of couples meeting through social media the stories always make me so curious and excited to hear how it all happened.

Samantha and Nick can thank Instagram and their friends for the introduction. When a cute boy likes all of your insta pictures, of course your friends make sure you go to a party all together to meet him in person! Fiona and Kristen said it best in their toasts, that when Nick got together with Sam, he was really saying yes to all of her friends as well.

It’s been a few months since I’ve been to Bardstown Kentucky, and I always forget how gorgeous it is in the Spring! We started the day at Samantha’s childhood home, which was absolutely beautiful. Having their first look in such a special location made it all the more heartfelt and hopefully a memory they will now have forever. We dodged a bit of rain for the portraits and honestly had nothing but fun.

Samantha and Nick, I hope you all are soaking up every but of sun in St Lucia!! Thanks for being so sweet and fun and all around amazing people.
