Cheers to engagement season! Our spring sessions started off a couple weeks ago on a gorgeous day with Calli and Taylor! We had to reschedule once due to weather, which is pretty common this time of year, but our new date was worth it. Cherokee Park had fields of yellow blooms and the sun was finally shinning!
These two met at Bellermine University as they both pursued degrees in Physical Therapy. That same pursuit is taking them across the country this month to Arizona, as Calli was offered her dream job! When they aren’t working with others, these two can point you to the BEST places in town to grab a pint. When we met for the first time we hung out at Gravely Brewing in the Highlands and it did not disappoint. Their session was complete with their very own growler, and I only wished I had planned for an extra hour so I could sit down and picnic with them. Here’s a few of our favorites from our time together!
I was on the hunt for Spring blossoms, because most of the parks and gardens still weren’t poppin’. Almost all of the tress in Cherokee Park were still brown and dead. After exploring a few nearby campuses before our session started, I finally stumbled across the cutest little patio area that had the perfect blooming white trees! Now it really feels like spring.
Cheers to new seasons! (And finding the best breweries in your new town.) We love you guys and can’t wait to celebrate with you guys back in the ‘ville this fall!
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Cherokee Park, here’s a peek at what it looks like in the fall. If you’re new to Louisville, Kentucky it’s a great place to explore and soak in this gorgeous weather we’ve been having.
