I’m taking a little walk down memory lane to last year and thinking about this gorgeous summer day. It’s officially spring again but here in Kentucky we’re still cold and a little dreary. We have our first engagement session of the season this Friday night and I just can’t wait for all the laughter, strolls and eskimo kisses. (Most of our couples know what those are. It’s always an extra laugh when they aren’t sure!) Are you ready to take a peek at this Summer Creek Engagement Session? Oh yes, get excited, there was a little water involved!
Megan and Austin were one of our 2018 wedding couples, and if you want to see their gorgeous fall wedding, you can find it by clicking here. Before the wedding day though, we LOVE getting together with our couples for their engagement sessions. These two grew up around LaGrange, so we enjoyed getting to explore main street and all of it’s gorgeous greenery. If you’ve never visited LaGrange, check it out, it’s a must! We even have a live train tracks that run down our main street.
After strolling through downtown LaGrange, we hit the road and headed to one of Austin’s favorite spots growing up. This creek is full of memories for these two, so we decided to make a few more there. Nothing says Kentucky summer like walking through a creek barefoot! I’m so thankful our couples love to adventure as much as Paul and I do. I need another Summer Creek Engagement Session in my life!
The night ended with a sweet sunset glow, in rolling fields we found on the way home. Nights like this one with the sweetest kind of people make me even more incredibly thankful for what we do! They’ll be celebrating their first anniversary later this year and we’re praying for many more to come!
