I’m not sure there’s much that words can add to such a gorgeous day, but I have to stop and take a minute to brag on these two. From our engagement shoot last year to the week of the wedding, Will and Mara have been nothing but fun and laughter! Farm weddings are definitely popular right now, but as I’ve seen first hand being out in the country can come with complications. Some venues are just not as prepared as they should be.  The best of both worlds? Let me introduce you to Walnut Way Farms; a hidden gem in Shelbyville Kentucky! Gorgeous, sweeping hillside views, multiple event spaces and honestly the most professional staff I’ve had the pleasure of working with. They are prepared for anything and it was dreamy actually being able to focus on photography and not having to step in to assist to coordinate in other ways.

Mara and Will met in passing working different shifts at a local hospital. They both were totally crazy for each other and after the first date (which took a while to get to) they both eagerly pursued this relationship. Fast forward to June 24, 2017 and they are married! Getting to see so many people gathered around them in a gorgeous venue, with the perfect glowing sunshine, clouds and sunset, really felt like a dream. I’ve never blogged so many images from a wedding, but I think you’ll see why I just couldn’t stop. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Hoagland! Thank you for letting me celebrate alongside you and your families… it was a day I’ll never forget!

These girls were so much fun! They let me laugh right alongside them as we hung out and they got dolled up for the day.

Mara’s engagement ring belong to Will’s mother, Marte. It’s a beautiful family heirloom and I love the design!

These white puffy clouds hung out with us all day long! I couldn’t of asked for anything better!

Walnut Way has a gorgeous bridal entrance option. The ceremony started with all the guests looking to the hillsides as Mara arrived in a horse-drawn carriage! So much class and southern charm! Will’s face was precious when he first saw her from a distance.

The reception in the garden was just as dreamy! Gorgeous trees, lovely floral arrangements, a gentle breeze and the sun setting over the dance floor.

I don’t know that I’ve blogged parent dances before, but the way Will & Marte smiled and laughed as they twirled had me captivated! This entire post is only a snippet of the day, and these next few were just too fun to leave out.

There were so many hilarious dance shots and sweet details as the night went on, but I’ll have to save those for the bride and groom’s gallery. I’ll leave you with my first glow stick send off! Such a fun way to send off such a fun couple.  Congratulations again, Will & Mara!!
