Once in a while, Paul and I get to attend a wedding celebration that truly leaves us overwhelmed with the goodness of God. As it would happen, the Iron Bell, has been the venue for several of these events for us in the past year. (My good friend Jenny and her husband Josh, my brother and his wife Hannah, and now the Cohoons.) Tracy and Brian’s story is one of remarkable redemption and joy, and I found myself the entire day just tearing up and smiling every time I thought about the roads that brought them to the alter together. While the entire story isn’t mine to share, what I will say is that these two have a relationship rooted in Jesus, that I believe will weather any storm that comes their way. From their adventurous spirits, to the love they have for their children, they are such a beautiful compliment to one another!!
The girls started the morning in the historic cabin on the Iron Bell property. Surrounded by her sisters, nieces and step daughters, it proved to be a cozy morning full of laughter and maybe just a hint of nerves. One day soon, we hope to shoot at Iron Bell again without the rain, but even though it poured the entire time, I don’t think it spoiled the fun one bit! It was a honor to witness, and celebrate alongside, a ceremony and union centered on the Lord. Tracy and Brian, we know amazing things are ahead for both of you all in your marriage. Thank you so much for your trust and excitement throughout this process! It’s been an honor! Enjoy a few of our wedding day photography favorites from the Iron Bell in Louisville, Kentucky
The family prayer time was probably my favorite part of the day. There’s something so special about pausing before the hustle of the ceremony and reception to just thank God for what He’s doing.
The Iron Bell is such a beautiful backdrop and I loved the personalized charcuterie boxes for each guest! Delicious and the perfect option for an easy grab and go, self serve approach.
Thanks to the amazing vendor team, friends and family who made this celebration so special!!
