Saturday’s wedding at Covered Bridge was such a beauty! Our bride and groom were totally on top of every detail and made the day a breeze! When I studied photography in college, I wasn’t sure where I would end up… everyone always told me how much I would hate weddings; but boy I’m so glad my passion for telling love stories has grown into such an amazing career. We love being Louisville Wedding Photographers! I’m so thankful and blessed to be able to do what we do!
Brittany and Mitchell first met each other in 2012 at duPont Manual high school. Their friendship grew into senior year where a first text blossomed into a beautiful relationship. Both graduated from Manual and pursued their dreams at different colleges. Brittany at the University of Louisville to become a nurse, and Mitchell at Georgia Tech to become an aerospace engineer for the United States Air Force. Though the long distance was tough they both stayed strong and on June 17th of last year, Mitchell proposed, over looking the Eiffel Tower at the Trocadero. “Brittany, will you marry me?”
This question brought us to this gorgeous day in Louisville, Kentucky! From an elegant morning at the Seelbach Hotel to the gorgeous views of Covered Bridge Golf Course, there wasn’t a detail that wasn’t perfect! (Well, maybe the vows being left behind, but a sweet relative saved the day and no one knew any better.) If that’s the worst wedding day hiccup, then I call it a win! The rain held off, the timeline was great and what a gorgeous celebration.
Brittany and Mitchell, thank you for letting us celebrate and capture your gorgeous day! To see and hear the sincerity in your vows, the toasts and the way you all love your friends and family was so endearing. I hope you enjoy a little sneak peek of the day while you relax in Hawaii!!
This necklace is so special! It was worn by the brides great-grandmother first and followed by her grandmother, aunt, mother and now Brittany. What a beautiful piece to wear throughout the generations!
Daddy-daughter first looks are always so special. This one was no different, and I just love the raw emotion that was privately shared.
We can’t wait to get you your entire gallery, but just had to share a few of our favorites for now. Congratulations once again, Mr. & Mrs. Becker!
Thank you to the amazing vendor team for a lovely day!
