It’s starting to feel like Spring here in Louisville, Kentucky and we took full advantage last week! Casey and John have to be one of the most genuine and fun-loving couples I’ve gotten to work with over the last few months. Their wedding inquiry came in a couple months ago and in Casey’s own words they, “have been searching (and struggling!) to find a photographer to shoot our engagement photos, and of course, our big day! We stumbled upon your page, and love your work and would love to know more!” You know when you meet someone and you just know INSTANTLY that you’re going to love them? Well, wouldn’t you know after grabbing coffee and getting to know each other, we ended up being a perfect fit!! (In other news- check out the Bean coffee shop in Germantown… SO GOOD!)

From meeting at a party and joking about it the next day to surprise proposals in NYC, their relationship is as sweet and fun as it gets! We started our session at the Germantown Mill Lofts, with all the awesome industrial flair, windows and brick a creative heart could desire! I love shooting in new spaces and getting to explore as I work, it always keeps things exciting and new.  Cherokee Park was the perfect way to end such a gorgeous day, and after just two hours with them, I could just tell how much they adore one another. It was so easy to capture genuine laughter, smiles, and sweet moments because they were real. Casey and John, thanks for being so authentic and fun!! Paul and I absolutely can’t wait for November!
