I’m so glad we live in a world with Kentucky Octobers. As I sit here enjoying some hot chocolate, buried beneath my fuzzy Christmas blanket (that I refuse to put away yet) I’m thinking back to what an amazing last few months it’s been. While winter is a close second, fall is my absolute favorite time of year! 2017 was no different, and with over 20 engagement sessions and 14 weddings between September and December, to say it went by in a blink is an understatement!!
So today I’m thinking back to warmer fall days with golden light, and sharing this cute couple with you all. Jill and Brandon and nothing but sweet. They both come from large families and I think that must been one of the reasons why they really know how to love well. These two met on a blind date, and as Jill explained, she was so nervous that she gave her cousin (who was setting them up) last minute notice that she wouldn’t be able to make it! The reason? She said she had to study even though there was nothing to even study for. Thankfully Jill’s cousin out smarted her the second time and she got the chance to meet Brandon. 2 years later, and I think it’s a safe bet that first date must have gone well.
We’re hoping for a little snow shoot over the next few weeks, but until then, enjoy a few of my favorite pictures from their Mount Saint Frances engagement session this fall! I can’t wait until their wedding!!
Such a sweet couple, love this engagement session in Louisville, Kentucky! And the colors of the sunset are amazing…especially with the cross! Absolutely beautiful!
