Jessica and Patrick are about as sweet as they come. What I loved most about our time together is that they completely trusted me. They didn’t have locations in mind or a strong vision for their session, so we took a little tour around downtown Louisville and Waterfront areas for their engagement session. It was such a fun afternoon, despite the chill in the air, and more than anything they just loved being with each other!
When I first met Jessica, she actually came to a consultation I had with her soon-to-be sister in law, Megan. Jess was in those first few weeks of being engaged and a little overwhelmed at all the options and choices for planning. Since then, they’ve chosen a gorgeous venue and are off to the races planing a destination wedding. It’s going to be gorgeous! When I asked them how they met, I learned that Megan and Jess were actually friends and sorority sisters in college, and Jess met Megan’s brother (Patrick) at a college party! Fast forward to today and the Kelly Family is planning for two weddings next year… such a sweet, sweet season! Enjoy some of my favorites below from our time together.

Downtown Louisville for the win! This engagement session was so beautiful, I love all the colours and how natural the couple looks in every image. Waterfront Park looks like the perfect location. Are you photographing their wedding too? I can’t wait to see if so!
