Sloane and Matthew chose the perfect day in the middle of summer for their wedding. I’ve been invited to discover some sweet new-to-me venues this year. Kavanaugh Retreat Center in Crestwood Kentucky was a well hidden one! It’s camp-like, picturesque woods and ponds made for a lovely, relaxing backdrop to our busy morning, and the 75 degree weather in the middle of July was perfect too!

There’s so much I want to say about these two and also much that I admire. They’re clients that I see more as sweet friends and I can’t wait to watch their relationship bloom.  Meeting while they were still in high school, it would have been easy to brush off a love interest right before moving for college. So many are thankful that Matthew took the time to really ask some mentors in his life, what would be a wise… and honestly? When the Lord brings people together it may be in unexpected ways and during unexpected seasons!

Their wedding celebration was completely focused on the Lord and I have no doubt that continuing to build their relationship around that truth will allow them to flourish.  So without further adieu, enjoy a little glimpse of the highlights from the Buschman’s celebration!
